Patriots for Disabled Divers is committed to funding quality scuba training for disabled veterans throughout the United States. Patriots for Disabled Divers and its affiliates offer Open Water and Reactivate Certifications through PADI, the world’s most recognized scuba training organization.

Reactivate

Already certified but been out of the water for a while? The PADI Reactivate course gives you an opportunity to get back in the water with a PADI professional to help hone your skills and familiarization with the scuba gear. It is usually a requirement if you have not been in the water for over a year and want to dive at your favorite dive destination. The course has two phases:

  • Elearning
  • Pool or open water skill session

Scuba Certification

The PADI Open Water Diver certification course is the world’s most popular scuba course and has introduced millions of people to the underwater world. In this course you’ll learn basic scuba diving skills and safety procedures.
The course has three phases:

  • ELearning course to understand basic principles of scuba diving
  • Confined Water Dives in a pool to learn basic scuba skills
  • Open Water Dives to review your skills and explore!
